Motorcycles suck. There, you happy? If you stop shit talking them, *we’ll stop saving up for a Ducati this christmas, alright!?
*(Don’t worry, we’re still getting the Ducati, I just want the sidebar to shut up for a while about it)

The trick is, there are no good starter bikes.

This ad makes a good point. I’ll start leaving for work at noon to bike there in 9 hours, and then bike home and arrive at about 4pm. Yeah that’ll work nicely.

There is a good starter bike. Too bad it’s a 50 and you need to be 8. After that it’s just a series of compromises.

Buy a grom! Buy a Grom!
I’m a grown human being, I don’t want a grom!
(nothing against the Grom, just not my style)

I’m sorry but the act of sitting in a car does not make one gain weight.

I used to bike 15 miles to/from a manual labor job.
Fun, it was not.

No, consuming more calories per day than your body can use is what makes you gain weight. Spending a lot of time sitting, in a car or otherwise, can possibly contribute to you being out of shape, but that isn’t the same thing.

How on earth are you alive?

I want a Grom, however I live outside of a city so there is less justification in buying one of those than a Vespa.

Oddly enough there are only two people I see riding bicycles. Drug dealers and people in spandex. Neither of those I intend on being.

Honestly I can’t imagine trying to commute to work via bicycle in the Phoenix metro area. 60 mile round trip, possible triple digit temperatures.
